steroids in baseball instead. To be clear on this: Thieves stole $9
billion, Congress didn't investigate, now they stiff returning troops $2
billion for the health care they need. This is an outrage!

Hundreds of disabled veterans booed and jeered
Republican House members on Tuesday for their budget proposal for
veterans' health care, which critics call inadequate to deal with the
future needs of current troops.
The loudest heckling was reserved for House Veterans'
Affairs chairman Rep. Steve Buyer, R-Ind., who was criticized by
Democrats on the committee and rebuked the crowd at one point by saying
"where the river is the shallowest, it makes the most noise."
Forced Servitude = Supporting the Troops?
The "conventional wisdom" is that "Republicans support the troops". Why
are all the tv channels allowed to repeat this lie? The truth is that
Bush and Congress have repeatedly cut
veterans benefits and installed the 'stop-loss' system forcing
troops to serve against their will. Carl Webb is one
of many young Americans ordered to go to Iraq even after he had
fulfilled his enlistment.

Depleted Uranium has been identified as THE cause of Gulf War Syndrome.
Troops returning from Gulf War I were afflicted with a wide variety of
symptoms, so diverse that the Pentagon denied there was a problem- with
so many ailments how could one element be the cause of them all? That
was logic of Clinton's Pentagon- deny that depleted uranium was a
radioactive disaster, and deny hundreds of thousands of Veterans the
health care they needed.

Remember when that soldier confronted Rumsfeld, asked him why they had
to scrounge for "hillbilly armor"? It
turns out that Rumsfeld flat out lied to the troops.
"When Rumsfeld said
armored humvees couldn't
be built any faster, O'Gara officials told reporters they actually
could build 100 more a month."
Why wasn't Rumsfeld or anyone fired?
