Universal Platform: Rough Draft

I believe these are the issues that 90% of Americans would unite on, if they knew the facts.

  • Impeach Bush/Cheney
  • Ending the Iraq War NOW
  • Prosecuting the Looters
  • Taking the PROFIT out of Health Care
  • Rescinding the Billionaire's tax cuts
  • Eliminating the Insurance Industry Leeches
  • Stop the Oil Companies price gouging
  • Redistributing the Wealth in a more equitable manner
  • Ending the Drug War
  • Stopping all Eminent Domain Land Grabs
  • Abolishing the Federal Reserve
  • Putting a halt to Prisons for Profit
  • Take the Money out of politics via Free Air Time
  • Uncover the real Truth about 9/11
  • Real Help for Katrina Victims
  • Repeal the "Patriot" Act / Restore the Bills of Rights

Where to stop? There are so many ills in our society that need to be corrected...

These were just off the top of my head- what comes to mind for you? Note that I left abortion and the gay issue off, because those are diversion issues created by Rove and his minions.

To start, I think we ought to advocate for a paper ballot only system for this fall- EMPLOY millions of Americans to hand count all the ballots. 3rd Grade logic dictates that all the ballots can be counted as fast as desirable, dependent upon how the system is set up and how many work the polls.

It's not that difficult - really.

Why do we have to accept 3 machines for 1500 voters?!
 The Machines were the Bottleneck that forced thousands to turn away. Why was that acceptable?

The idea of "town" meetings among like minded people against the current agenda of corruption, greed and double speak agenda. Is there a central location on the internet or alternative media where this movement can take root? Craigslist started out of nowhere and now it's getting bigger than ebay. I realize that it is a site based on mainly commerce but the power of its underground appeal is rather fascinating. Could a central website or theme get people organized?

The reverberations from just these changes, which I believe would garner deep support from people everywhere, and what would happen during the process toward these changes would change many many other things.
