Who is "Ben Frank"?
Just a regular American that started really paying attention. Ben Frank was my on-air name as a DJ, I started this site to be a community message board for our local public radio station, but that didn't pan out. Kicked off the air for too many peace songs, and I embarassed the president (by playing audio uncut audio clips). I went ot the board of directors and said, "I've got a ton of peace songs, audio interviews, etc... all the info that's not been covered by NPR." They told me they know NPR is bad, and they were going to write them a letter. They fully agreed with everything I had to say, everything was nice and pleasant. Then they had their lawyer send me a letter:if you show up at the station again we'll have you arrested for trespassing. That's 'public' radio these days... advocating free speech, peace? ... not at KBBI in Homer, Alaska.
Some folks didn't want me talking about Depleted Uranium on the air as that might offend sponsors. I'm a 36 year old teacher/techie/jack-of-all-trades. My wife and I built our house together in 2002, then in 2003 I stopped working for cash. Can you imagine a circumstance that would have you choosing to work 80 hrs/wk for zero monetary compensation? That's what I've been doing.
The Reason: Things are much worse than you know. Much, much worse. If the truth were out, NO American would support what Bush and Co have done. ZERO. Being a techie, I happened to start reading the news on the internet, really paying attention in 2000, (no it's not all bloggers making stuff up), I began reading the Guardian UK, the Independent, news from Japan, Australia, Italy, and even from the USA. I also had a tv and watched the news, listened to NPR, read the American papers... and I began to see A LOT of important news stories that were covered by the rest of the world- like the Niger-Uranium Forgery Exposed BEFORE the War [1] - the forgery was so bad it was laughable [2]. Like the US Spying on the Security Council [3]... these were HUGE stories around the world, but in America it was total blackout. I now believe that these stories were buried to shield the info from Congress as well as the public- Congress is in a bubble just like Dubya.
Much of my work over the last few years can be seen on the other portions of this website here [4] and here [5]. I may have said some "outrageous" things, but please realize that I was never intending to be a politician. My heart was always in the right place, and my writing has "been frank" on purpose- because the time for beating around the bush is over - now is the time for some straight talk.
We all know BushCo Lied to Start a war. Many Americans have begun to ask, what else have they lied about? And it ain't pretty. But rather than elaborate on that here, let's talk politics.
It is CLEAR that suits, ties and law degrees do not make for honest, caring politicians.
I know I would make a better Representative than my current Rep, because he has done nothing about repealing the Anti-American "Patriot" Act. Bush Lied to America on national television. Bush admitted to an impeachable offense on national television. Our Reps have done NOTHING. They swore to uphold the Constitution, Bush has openly defied the Constitution, and instead of holding him accountable, they ROLLED OVER again!

What credibility do I have?
My information sources are mainstream sources from around the world, C-span, and sometimes indie media films that show what the networks refuse. The facts I report are not in doubt, just under-reported.
Logic is my credibility. To focus on the NSA Spying issue: In 2004 Bush lied to his supporters on the campaign trail telling them that all spying was done with a warrant, when in fact he knew it was not. Then in Dec 2005 he.... hey, wait a minute. I could go on for a page or two more about the spying et al.. but isn't this initial tidbit enough? Seriously- regardless of the spying, Bush LIED to get elected. Is that ok in America? I'll bet that 95% of America would say it's not. Yet not a single politician in DC dares to even mention it. Logically, why is this?
