"The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.” - Stalin

Who counts the votes in America? Machines.

In Alaska, and probably most other states, poll workers are not allowed to hand count the votes to verify the machine totalled them up correctly. Let me reiterate- Humans are not allowed to verify the machine results.

300 Soldiers from the 372 Stryker Brigade ordered back to Iraq.

About 300 U.S. soldiers who just weeks ago returned home to Alaska after a year in Iraq are being ordered back to try to help bolster security in Baghdad, the U.S. Army said on Monday...

The order provoked anger and disappointment among some of the soldiers' families in Alaska. (Reuters)

Soldiers: Standing up for the Truth is the courageous thing to do.

Even with the FOX propaganda 24/7, I'll bet at least 30 out of the 300 troops know that they're not liberating the Iraqis.

Bio:

For the last 6 years I have been studying politics intensely. The passage of the Patriot Act after the events of 9/11 made me start questioning the intentions of our leaders.

As I watched the run-up to the war in Iraq, and investigated the lies we were being told by our government and the Corporate media and the effect these lies would have on innocent people, I felt that I must get involved and do everything to stop the atrocity before it happened.. Many years later, I am still fighting to stop a war that never should have started.

I live by words of the great Martin Luther King Jr: "Silence is betrayal".

The Alaska Election Results from 2004 don't add up, yet the state won't release the records so a transparent examination can find what happened to the missing votes. According to the State Div. of Elections, it's Diebold's software and we have no right to access their trade secrets.

How can any intelligent American accept that as an answer? We cannot verify the validity of our election results because a Private (Republican Owned) Corporation owns the machines. This makes no sense in "the land of the free".

This is what happened in the 2004 Democratic Primary in Alaska.

My wife and I were newbies to the political process, we had never been to a caucus before, never been involved in politics other than casting a vote every few years. This time we were watching closely, and we became aware that John Kerry was a Republican with a Democratic nameplate. We saw Howard Dean collect $40 million in anti-war money, then turn around and support 40,000 more troops Kerry. Whatever happened to fighting for what you believe in? How is it possible that we had a Presidential election between two pro-war candidates? Why didn't America have a real choice, ie Bush vs a Dem that would end the war?

This story outlines how the DLC stole Alaska for Kerry. Hopefully my experience will help others to be prepared to expose the status-quo stooges in their state.

In 1989 the Exxon Valdez Oil Tanker ran aground spillling 30 million of gallons of crude oil into Alaska's Prince William Sound. Everyone knows that, but did you know that 30,000 Alaskan Fishermen and Native Tribes won a $5 Billion lawsuit against Exxon in 1994?

As of this writing, 2/23/06, Exxon still has not paid a dime to those most affected by the spill. Thousands of Alaskans experienced severe financial hardship- how many families were broken up due to the financial & emotional stress caused by Exxon?
