The first Gulf War was primarily an air bombing campaign... Dubya's Iraq War has been a long drawn out campaign, 
with troops on the ground exposed to DU dust repeatedly. Over 800,000 soldiers have rotated through Iraq, how many have been in close proximity to exploded ordnance and it's .1 micron DU Dust.

11,000 young soldiers died, soldiers that were not injured in combat. This time around it could be much, much worse... if we care about our troops, shouldn't we get every soldier tested for Depleted Uranium? Our Congress won't do this- because the results might be scary- that's the only reason not to test, because they don't want to know the answer. IMHO, this means our Congress is betraying the troops and their families.
