Do you recall Bush's Total Information Awareness plan- a database compiling information on every American citizen? The government wants to watch our every move.

Well the President, and our Representatives in Congress are actually civil servants, as employees of We the People, they are working for us. And seeing the flood of corruption throughout DC, I think it's time we turn the Eye on them.

Total Government Awareness will cost a few hundred million dollars, but it will save us Billions by cutting down on the corrupt deals going down in DC. With today's technology, we ought to know everything about our Representatives and what they are doing... there is no reason not to do this. If they're honestly working for the public good, they should have nothing to hide.

The FAT Bill:
The Public Airwaves must be used for the Public Good.

* Television and Radio stations will provide Free Air Time for all qualified candidates in all elections.

* 15, 30, 60 or 120 sec spots (back-to-back, order randomized) will air hourly during the month leading up to the election.

* Live Debates will be broadcast weekly during the two months leading up to the election. (For Presidential, monthly debates in the 6 months before the first primary)

Stations that fail to do so will have their FCC license revoked. The airwaves are public, and they must be used for the public good. The purpose of this bill is to end the system of "s/he with most money wins". Hopefully, this will allow good people with the best ideas to be elected, rather than puppets with big $$ backers.

The Majority to Win Bill

Background: In our current system the minority candidate frequently wins.

Ex: A presidential election has three candidates, one warmonger, and two peace candidates. If the warmonger gets 40% of the vote, peace1 gets 35% and peace2 25%... 60% of the population wants peace, but the warmonger with only 40% support wins the election.

An age old tool of tyrants is "Divide and Conquer". That's what has happened in America- but the tyrant is not one person, but the entire "military-industrial complex" (President Eisenhower). Why would we install a gov't in Afghanistan and give them the 50% to win rule, but it's been outlawed in our own country. Who benefits from this system? The warmongers.

This bill is to restore the true will of the people.

Text of Bill:
* A 50% +1 majority is required to win in ALL Federal Elections. Should no candidates achieve a majority, a runoff election will be held.

* Since it is obvious that elections require tremendous time and money, this runoff election will be achieved via a modern technology called instant runoff voting.

* All ballots will have the choice, None of the Above.

* If NotA wins, Another election with all new candidates will be held in 28 days.
