The term “brainwashing” usually conjures up images on the subject being strapped in a chair being over-loaded with video/audio stimulation, perhaps given drugs… real CIA MK-Ultra type stuff.

Thus people think it’s absurd that most of America has literally been brainwashed- how could it be possible? Well, most people believe, as Willie Nelson sings, “They won’t lie to me, not on my own damn tv…” Yes Virginia, you’ve been lied to. Repeatedly, consistently, purposefully, lied to by those in power. Not just Bush, but Democrats too, via the mainstream media. Howard Zinn #4:

This has led to a population that believes that which is not true- brainwashed. They believe there are, to paraphrase Bush, ~ thousands of killers, barbaric killers plotting to attack us. They believe that it’s ok for a President to spy on Americans, to lie to start a war. They believe that terrorists ‘hate our freedoms’.

The television is a Govt propaganda tool, with all the ‘experts’ that agree that Dubya is a noble leader, that “everybody” thought Iraq had WMDs, that we can’t “cut and run” etc… Everything on tv and radio news is bullshit.

So you say, what do you mean, they’re outright lying? Yes, like when CNN leads their headline news with, “Bush says spying legal” - that’s not news, that what Bush says. They’re supposed to inform us of the truth, not just repeat whatever Bush says. So you see- Bush lies, the media repeats it, and the Democrats do nothing. That is the formula that has enabled lying crooks to usurp our freedoms in the name of “protection”.

9/11: think about the tv images that day and the weeks after, how many times did you see the 2nd plane crash and the fireball? It was the literal brainwashing of America…

Guardian UK: ‘We can implant entirely false memories’

Alan Alda had nothing against hard-boiled eggs until last spring. Then the actor, better known as Hawkeye from M*A*S*H, paid a visit to the University of California, Irvine. In his new guise as host of a science series on American TV, he was exploring the subject of memory. The researchers showed him round, and afterwards took him for a picnic in the park. By the time he came to leave, he had developed a dislike of hard-boiled eggs based on a memory of having made himself sick on them as a child - something that never happened.

Someone should study how effective Fox News is at using this technique to trick viewers into believing entirely false versions of recent history.

Ha ha… on one hand we have a former Reagan official describing Bush’s Nazi tactics, we have two Repub Congressmen warning of BushCo declaring Martial Law…. but the most popular Dem blogger says absolutely nothing about that stuff, nothing about impeachment, and there’s little hope for the 2006 election.

This is a progressive leader? Sure. Gee, I wonder how “Kos” got to be so popular. Probably the same way Nancy “No Iraq Plan is our goal” Pelosi got to be Dem “Leader” of the House.

The problem now is not Bush believers, but the left leadership that is taking a dive. Phrases like broke the law, high crimes, impeachable offense, & treason are commonplace all over the net and now even mainstream media. At this moment, there should be loud calls for impeachment from every Democrat in America, and out of 200+ DC Dems, the best we’ve got is one call for Censure?

Where is Congress anyway? The Senate returns in a week or two, but the House may be on vacation until January 31st. Did most of them return to their home states, or are they still in DC? Seems to me like they’re in hiding. WTF are they doing taking a vacation when this SOB is has flagrantly violated the law, and he continues to do so. Congresspeople, where are you!

I’m listening to this mp3 of John Conyers…. “how much is enough?… the point where you can’t take it anymore.” - he’s just now getting there?

Honestly, Mr. Conyers is to be commended for speaking out since he appears to be the only Dem to do so, but I find myself listening and thinking that no movement will succeed with Mr. Conyers as the spokesman. No offense intended, but Mr. Conyers doesn’t have the charisma and/or passion to inspire a movement. His Censure deal now is about the Iraq war, something that should have been introduced back in June 2005, so now he comes out with right when the spy scandal breaks… and now he’s gathering signatures again. A fat lot of good that did last year, but he’ll try again, hoping that Bush listens this time? Bush is the criminal- don’t ask him to look at your petitions, prosecute him!

Seriously, why don’t we have a vibrant young leader “goin’ off” on everything Bush has done, there is sooo much evidence, all we need is someone to lead the charge and take him down. It’s like a vacuum on the left…. Where did everyone go?

Is this it for America, are we just going down without a fight… at the end of the month, right when there could be massive Protests at the State of the Union, Congress will be considering the new “Patriot” act, which contains provisions to create a new Gestapo, a federal police force that travels the country and has the power to arrest people at will, 1yr in jail for “unauthorized signs”!!! Is this not exactly what Hitler did?

No, the real problem isn’t with the Bush followers, it’s with the LEFT that keeps following these fake groups and fake leaders that lead to nowhere. It’s time for the LEFT to wake up to how bad it really is, and that more is required than a donation to moveon. The time is ripe for a group to go down to your local “public” radio station and demand that the NPR propaganda be replaced with real, live dialogue between citizens.

Progressives on the net need to push the phlogs into covering the real issues. Supreme Court Nominee Samuel Alito is not an issue- Bush is a criminal as such he shouldn’t be appointing any Supreme Court Judges.

Earlier this year we had the story of $9 Billion ‘lost’ by Paul Bremer, the Zogby poll indicating the majority of Iraqis wanted US to leave, and the 52 Warnings before 9/11, info that Bush withheld until after the ‘election’ - all of these major stories were buried by the mainstream press, and by the fake left blog and news network.

These major stories all came out in Jan 05, right about the time the phlogs ‘broke’ the Jeff Gannon male prostitute in the White House story… oh yeah, that was funny and intriguing… but not really incriminating to BushCo.

For at least a month the Gannon story was all over the ‘alternative press’, while the 52 Warnings story was buried. Some call it a ‘limited hangout’ technique- slam Bush on certain issues to gain credibility, then bury the incriminating stories while diverting readers and activists to issues that won’t bring down the house.

I write about this now, because the phloggers are still covering for Bush today. There is enough evidence to Impeach Bush Now- the Downing Street Memos proved that the war in Iraq was PRE-MEDITATED MURDER- it was not a last resort- period. Bush and Blair planned to go to war, WMDs were merely the excuse.

Colin Powell made a presentation to the UN, trying to persuade the Security Council to approve of the war, but after forgeries and spying were exposed, the vote for war was going to lose embarassingly, so Bush pulled the 2nd UN Resolution and invaded anyway.

[Note: I wrote this before the Spy Scandal. With Bush admitting to breaking the law, and telling Congress he’s going to continue to do so and they can just stuff it…. this is a blatant grab for power. Hitler did the same thing, and when the courts laid down he assumed total power. That’s what is happening right now!]

That’s what the phony phloggers are covering up right now… there is no need for an investigation- it’s all public knowledge, proof that Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi and the gang all LIED to start a war- if this is not a High Crime, then what is? Lying to start a war is far worse than Clinton’s BJ, yet the phloggers just want to continue ‘battling the Bushies’ for three more years- oh well, America voted for him. BUllSHit!

The phloggers are covering that up too- the 2004 Election was stolen. AND if they can fix the Presidential Election, then it’d be really easy to fix Congressional races too. They manufactured the Republican Congress to keep themselves out of prison. Pundits keep saying, he’ll never be impeached with Repubs in power…. that’s exactly the point- that’s why they had to steal Congress as well. Yet this is taboo to bring up- the phloggers rarely mention the 2004 election theft, and NEVER mention the possibility that other races could have been fixed as well. Why? Is it really that outlandish- after seeing what these monsters are capable of- is fixing a few House races really a ridiculous notion?

Nobody like accusations, but this is my list of left gatekeepers - supposedly progressive news sites that are all to happy to let the big stories drop to focus on Judge Roberts, etc. I believe these sites are infiltrated, if not outright managed by the Establishment.
CommonDreams, Truthout, Democracy Now, Air America, TomPaine, AntiWar, Democrats.com, DailyKos, Michael Moore, TalkingPointsMemo, Atrios, MoveOn, DemocraticUnderground, HuffingtonPost, etc…. There may be good people involved with each organization, but that doesn’t stop the goons from burying the big news and focusing the left on safe issues like Alito, Roberts, etc.

If these sites were for real- they would all unite in demanding impeachment for the entire Bush Administration- immediately. Bush broke the law, and continues to do so- and just like Hitler, he says it’s to protect us. Who would believe this? Yet all these “progressives” are eager to for another Diebold election? This spying information would have changed the 2004 election- that ought to be reason enough to throw Bush out on his ass. Why aren’t they all raising hell about that?

Instead, the phloggers are content to talk about Bush’s Supreme Court nominee. ‘The Blogosphere’ has been flooded with phonies. As BushCo tries to establish a Homeland Security Gestapo in the new “Patriot” Act, the phloggers don’t say a damn word about it. They just keep on flooding us with more news- we don’t need to keep reading news for 3 years while these crooks continue to destroy America, we need to hold BushCo accountable with the evidence already available.

The bottom line is, don’t be distracted by phloggers and their stall tactics,

Demand Impeachment Now

This is a fact everyone needs to know. In pherhaps his finest moment, Mohammed El Baradei went before the Security Council and exposed the Niger doucments as cheap forgeries two weeks before the war began. He stood up to the United States and exposed their lie to the world. This act of courage was a major factor forcing Bush to pull the 2nd UN Resolution before the Security Council could vote it down.

The exposed forgery was headline news around the world- but not in America. CommonDreams carried it, and a few other alternative news sites, but TV and Radio News did not report it. Is this not criminal intent to deceive on the part of the networks? Had they aired this news, it might have stopped the war- yet now 100,000 are dead.

Now the media is pretending to be tough on Bush, but they’re still burying the important stories, like the 20,000 Soldiers Hospitalized after receiving Anthrax Shots…. that’s huge. Every potential recruit has the right to know this fact before being coerced into receiving these shots with sometimes catastrophic side effects. If a kid turns 18 then and joins the army, then ends up psychotic from these shots, killing his young wife upon return from Iraq- who is to blame. First off Rummy for ordering the mandatory shots, others at the Pentagon are guilty of witholding this info from Congress, but now the media is withholding this information from the public- directly putting young Americans at risk thru their silence-is-betrayal complicity.

We need to make it clear that it’s the top media executives and everyone down the line that will go to prison for putting our kids in harms way in such a brazen and callous manner. Prison AND they lose all of their assets- let their children make it on minimum wage for a while.

At a press briefing responding to Murtha’s call for an immediate withdrawl, Rumsfeld said Iraq had made enormous progress, “The situation in Iraqi has been improving.”

By what measure? What actual proof does Rummy have that the situation is improving?

Generals testified last month, that after 2 and a half years only 750 out of 200,000 Iraqi Soldiers are capable of operating independently.

Absolutely, because their purpose is not to inform, but to cover for the Military-Industrial Complex.

If we can get the MSM to cover this admitted use of Chemical Weapons, then we can ask all Pro-war Americans where they draw the line. Can they really look in the mirror and convince themselves that we’re still the good guys in Iraq?

1. “Someone”

took the Senators into a closed door session and told them Saddam had UAVs capable of hitting the East Coast… they voted on the Resolution soon after.

Senator Bill Nelson (FL):

I, along with nearly every Senator in this Chamber, in that secure room of this Capitol complex, was not only told there were weapons of mass destruction–specifically chemical and biological–but I was looked at straight in the face and told that Saddam Hussein had the means of delivering those biological and chemical weapons of mass destruction by unmanned drones, called UAVs, unmanned aerial vehicles. Further, I was looked at straight in the face and told that UAVs could be launched from ships off the Atlantic coast to attack eastern seaboard cities of the United States. Is it any wonder that I concluded there was an imminent peril to the United States?

As far as I know, it has never been revealed who that “Someone” was that told the Senators about this threat… was it Cheney? They always say he’s got ‘gravitas’.

“We’ve also discovered through intelligence that Iraq has a growing fleet of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles that could be used to disperse chemical or biological weapons across broad areas. We are concerned that Iraq is exploring ways of using these UAVs for missions targeting the United States.”

2. Dick Cheney

If you missed the Downing Street Memo Hearings, this is from CIA veteran Ray McGovern’s opening statement:

On August 26, 2002, less than 5 weeks after the briefing at 10 Downing Street, Vice President Cheney gave a major speech in which he said, “We now know that Saddam has resumed his efforts to acquire nuclear weapons. Among other sources, we’ve gotten this from the first-hand testimony of defectors including Saddam’s own son-in-law.”

This was a lie.

Saddam’s son-in-law, Hussein Kamel, told us just the opposite when he defected in 1995. Again, he told us just the opposite. You can find it on page 13 of his debriefing report. He said, “All weapons, biological, chemical, missile, nuclear, were destroyed.” How did Kamel know this? He was in charge.

They were destroyed in July 2001. I’m sorry, in July 1991 at his order. Why? To prevent the U.N. inspectors from finding them after the war. And everything else, everything else Hussein Kamel told us checked out to be true.

Cheney’s lie would have been able to stand were it not for the conscience of another patriotic whistle-blower who gave the text of Kamel’s debriefing to Newsweek 4 weeks before the war as the drumbeat for war got louder and louder in early-2003. Newsweek broke the story on February 24, 2003, several weeks before the attack, but the information was suppressed by U.S. media.

3. Bush

10/01/02 “Of course, I haven’t made up my mind we’re going to war with Iraq.” - list of such lies

This theme was a huge part of selling the war. At the time, they were claiming that “war was a last resort” often, this vote in Congress was supposed to scare Saddam into disarming, it was not a “vote to remove Saddam from power”, as Bush claimed.

11/11/05 “When I made the decision to remove Saddam Hussein from power, Congress approved it with strong bipartisan support.”

Again, the vote was not to remove Saddam from power- this is a HUGE lie. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone in the media would actually call him on that lie in a tv interview…. I dream of the day that a tv journalist decides to risk their career and really grill Bush, not just move on to the next question.

4. Condoleeza Rice

The Big Lie is that Iraqis want our troops to stay and finish the ‘liberation’. The leaked UK poll shows a whopping 82% of Iraqis are opposed to the occupation, and “less than one per cent of the population believes coalition forces are responsible for any improvement in security.” This story is HUGE. It should be the top story in America until all US troops have returned home….

Browsing thru Google News I found dozens of stories about this leaked UK poll, but they were all from Britain, Scotland, China, South Africa, India, Malaysia… not one US network or even local tv station picked up the story that the majority of Iraqis want our troops to leave.

But on the same day Google News had the Washington Post, MSNBC, ABCNews, USAToday, LA Times, and a few dozen local tv stations covered Britney Spears stolen baby photos. (Not one of these same outlets covered the real news about the secret UK poll)

What should be done with media outlets (broadcasting on OUR Public Airwaves) that refuse to cover major stories like the fact that most Iraqis want us to leave, while pushing garbage like Britney’s baby photos as ‘news’. I suggest these ‘news’ outlets are complicit in the coverup of The Truth about Iraq, they should have their assets seized and their broadcast license revoked.

No it’s not the Downing Street Memo, or the $9 Billion lost in Iraq, or the 52 warnings before 9/11 (info that was suppressed before the election, which should nullify the election)…

The #1 buried story is the fact that Halliburton has been pumping the oil in Iraq since 2003, and it hasn’t been metered. This was revealed by the Inspector General’s report on the missing $9 billion, and highlighted by Galloway’s awesome testimony before the Senate this May

Have a look at the oil that you didn’t even meter, that you were shipping out of the country and selling, the proceeds of which went who knows where?

Gee, and oil prices have been at all time highs… coincidence?

As New Orleans is under marshal law, last night around 6:30pm the military informed us that anyone on the streets would get a warning shot, and after that be shot on the spot, throughout the night, we saw groups of white men riding around in pickup trucks, vigilantes, along with the NOPD and the @#%$ NYPD, yes, yes yall the NYPD is in the house, this is the battle ground, this is the BATTLE FOR ALGIERS, ….

MUIR: Was it solely the water that broke the levee, or was it the force of this barge that now sits where homes once did? Joe Edwards says neither. People are so bitter, so disenfranchised in this neighborhood, they actually think the city did it, blowing up the levee to save richer neighborhoods like the French Quarter.

MUIR: So you’re convinced . . .

EDWARDS: I know this happened!

MUIR: . . . they broke the levee on purpose?

EDWARDS: They blew it!

So New Orleans resident Mr. Edwards heard an explosion just before the levee broke… seems like it’s worthy of an investigation, but instead the mainstream media buries the story. Implications?

On Saturday, after being challenged in court by CNN, the Bush administration agreed not to prevent the news media from following the effort to recover the bodies of Hurricane Katrina victims.

But on Monday, in the Bywater district, that assurance wasn’t being followed. The 82nd Airborne soldier told reporters the Army had a policy that requires media to be 300 meters — more than three football fields in length — away from the scene of body recoveries in New Orleans. If reporters wrote stories or took pictures of body recoveries, they would be reported and face consequences, he said, including a loss of access for up-close coverage of certain military operations.

Are there any investigative reporters with telephoto lenses willing to risk it all to uncover the truth?

FEMA hired a mobile morgue to take care of the bodies in New Orleans. That’s why bodies are left in the streets, because nobody is allowed to touch them except FEMA’s morticians… problem is they hired a firm that previously dumped bodies in the woods!

The Menorah Gardens cemetery chain, owned by SCI, desecrated vaults, removed hundreds of bodies from two cemeteries in Florida and dumped the gruesome remains in woods frequented by wild hogs, investigators discovered in 2001. In one case, a backhoe was used to crack open a vault, remove corpses and make room for more dead bodies.

SCI paid $100 million to settle a lawsuit filed by outraged family members of the deceased.

A secretary at the lawfirm that sued SCI over the Florida cemetery scandals gasped when informed that FEMA had outsourced handling of Katrina victims’ bodies to an SCI subsidiary.

“Oh, good lord!” she said.

Peter Hartmann, general manager of the Menorah Gardens Cemetery chain, was later found dead in his car from carbon monoxide poisoning outside his parents’ home in an apparent suicide.
