Brainwashed America
The term “brainwashing” usually conjures up images on the subject being strapped in a chair being over-loaded with video/audio stimulation, perhaps given drugs… real CIA MK-Ultra type stuff.
Thus people think it’s absurd that most of America has literally been brainwashed- how could it be possible? Well, most people believe, as Willie Nelson sings, “They won’t lie to me, not on my own damn tv…” Yes Virginia, you’ve been lied to. Repeatedly, consistently, purposefully, lied to by those in power. Not just Bush, but Democrats too, via the mainstream media. Howard Zinn #4:

This has led to a population that believes that which is not true- brainwashed. They believe there are, to paraphrase Bush, ~ thousands of killers, barbaric killers plotting to attack us. They believe that it’s ok for a President to spy on Americans, to lie to start a war. They believe that terrorists ‘hate our freedoms’.
The television is a Govt propaganda tool, with all the ‘experts’ that agree that Dubya is a noble leader, that “everybody” thought Iraq had WMDs, that we can’t “cut and run” etc… Everything on tv and radio news is bullshit.
So you say, what do you mean, they’re outright lying? Yes, like when CNN leads their headline news with, “Bush says spying legal” - that’s not news, that what Bush says. They’re supposed to inform us of the truth, not just repeat whatever Bush says. So you see- Bush lies, the media repeats it, and the Democrats do nothing. That is the formula that has enabled lying crooks to usurp our freedoms in the name of “protection”.
9/11: think about the tv images that day and the weeks after, how many times did you see the 2nd plane crash and the fireball? It was the literal brainwashing of America…
Every American ought to read Orwell’s 1984- it’s not just about a police state, it’s about the government terrorizing it’s own citizens into accepting perpetual war. To paraphrase a comment I read somewhere, ‘it’s like a car air freshener, the 9/11 vanilla is losing it’s scent, time for a new all powerful flavor’ to re-establish the fear and control.
ps- recall in the 2000 election, BushCo was busted for ’subliminable’ ads that had, democ RATS, flash on the screen for a split second… this was a big story to which Bush said it was a ridiculous claim. Did anything ever come of that, was someone held accountable, did tv networks declare this never happened again? No, nothing… maybe they’re still doing it, and they just haven’t been caught yet.
Of course this sounds crazy, but what else am I left with. Explain the current insanity that has a President lie to start a war, a President whose dad makes money off war weapons, A Vice President with stock in Halliburton, a company still getting bonuses even after they overcharged $1.5 billion. We watched in horror as thousands were stranded after Katrina while the President continued his tour of photo-ops… America just saw Congress cut $40 billion from the poor while giving $70 billion to the rich… people ought to be outraged… and yet there is silence. It seems to me that America has been brainwashed into submission. Maybe its the fluroide… or the teflon, aspartame, prozac, ritalin, viagra, etc

“Corporate media” - humorous indeed! What is ‘corporate media’? The media that shows 9 of 10 comedian liberals bashing and trashing the administration? Is it nearly all the sit-coms and dramas on TV that are new bashing and disrespecting and throwing out OPINIONS that are purely liberal bias and hateful?

it’s called ’sensationalizing” it’s called showing a picture that has caught peoples attention and for some sick reason, humans want to see that over and over and so they do… and they play it and people all over the internet posted it and gave their opinions… it’s called DEALING with situations… There was no brainwashing idiot! The otehr AQ attacks, those several under Clinton were on TV a lot… not as much cuz they were not as huge and on our land, (one was, but it was no where near the size of this one and it was still played over and over…) Just like any other accident, like the crash we had right off the coast of CA about 5 years or so back that killed a huge number of passengers - we saw that for 3 days straight and then saw it often (very often) after that… like the make-shift morge etc…. no points here with your theory… see what I mean about drama, one sidedness, pride filled losers, desperate parties… half truths, opinions and sites that brainwash?

By the way, fact check your facts, they are sorely in need of a reality check!
1. Vice President Cheney did NOT own stocks in Halliburton, he had not worked as their rescuing CEO for years before he took office…
2. FACT: Halliburton is the only US company who could fill the contracts due to their long long long term specializing in areas that other companies did and do not specialize in.. that is because they cannot find profit in it when there is no need on a day to day basis, no experts in every day companies and no track record for outstanding work. They had an overcharge and you act like they got favors for it… in fact, not! They were audited for that and did not get away with it and then bid and won the next contract because there (for one) were no bidders and no one who was even interested. So your one sided crap is really not very well researched here either!
3. Kerry, who had the Enron CEO over to his house twice before the enron bust, does own stock in halliburton as done the one and only (who says he owns NO STOCK at all), Moore… yep, the cud chewing cow!
4. Cindy Sheehan, by the way, is not a credible source for much of anything and you look stupid refering to her…

if anything, a radical, such as yourself, willing to totally disregard a nations’s leaders has little credibility. if it is within your rights as an american to say what’s wrong with our country, then it is within my rights to say how unsensible it is to say that the “crooks” in washington “usurp our freedoms in the name of “protection”.
How is the government attacking your freedoms? is this somekind of unseen assault all americans can’t see for themselves? The notion that no one can percieve your so called “usurp [of] our freedoms” for themselves is an insult to every american. You cannot speak for all americans, as we can’t speak so as to how you feel about your rights. Let americans decide for themselves. How can anybody abide this site’s propaganda?

My bro is in the forth infantry div which occupies Baghdad from his point of view we are the most powerful military in the world and we don’t even budge these people but one dictator puts them all in check. They laugh when we get hurt or killed. There disrespectful ungrateful for what we are doing for them. The enemy is invisible and we drive around in circles waiting for a bomb to go off to fight nobody. He says these people need Sadaam back. He says its like Russian Rullet.

I once refused to believe it, but unfortunatly it’s true. Only after 3 years of research on my own did I realize how badly the media goes along with the adminstration.
Facts:
1) The media simply spews forth press releases and what “government sources” say. This is not reporting.
2) Americans make decisions based on this information. Which is NOT what is actually going on
3) If you control the input into this system you can control amearica.
Those with the $$$ and those with influence over the media can therefore tell amearica whatever they want, and it is taken as factual. This is how amearica has been “brainwashed”
Bush has been caught in many lies. Any one of which should have him booted out of office.
1) He lies and continues to lie about the reasons for our occupation of Iraq
2) Nothing is being done about the invasion of our country by illegals. Who needs guns? just walk into amearica. Bring your friends. Keep your culture. Watch amearica slowly disolve.
This is treason!
3) 9/11. I can hear the ears closing just by mentioning this. But think about it. The MOST POWERFUL MILITARY ON THE PLANET! We have such amazing technology, even after 2 crashes of jets into the trade towers we couldn’t intercept the pentagon bound jet? This is such crap. Anyone with a handle on the capabilities of the military would realize from this alone that our government allowed this to happen. Did they plan it? That’s speculation. But if they allowed it to happen, that’s just as bad. Why scramble your jets at 1800 mph when they can take their time at 400 mph. And for flight 93, cell phones DO NOT WORK at altitude. Read the 911 commission report which states most of the calls were lengthy, at altitude and from cell phones. It’s amusing to watch the government investigate itself. Guess what the verdict is when a criminal investigates a criminal… INNOCENT!
Yet dispite all this evidence, Amearica is still asleep. Being disolved from within by a cancerous government.

Look into the research of a particular man who is related to Sigmund Freud. This man basically invented mind control through advertising. I, and a few exceptional individuals, do not believe everything printed in books, magazines, and see in other sources of media. So there you have it; you’re a padantic fuck, seething with prosaic machinations (a fitting oxymoron), “full of sound and fury” as one man put it, signifying only the destruction of a free-thinking society and the freedom of true original thought. Part of me cannot blame you for being in denial, as few want to believe what they know (deep inside) is true. Just because nobody has ever overtly violated you (such as your government or other “authority,”) does not mean it has never happened in your country or to someone who is actually innocent.
