Dictators Spy on Peace Groups

Filed under: US Govt, headline news, Impeach, Spying — ben @ 3:04 pm

Why is it that nobody in the media, even the alternative press, can bring themselves to say it. Bush is truly acting like a dictator- boldy declaring he broke the law and will continue to do so…. and Congress and the media are all pretending that it’s Business as Usual. It’s high time the alternative press start calling out Congress on their silent, stalling complicity.

Of course they say the spying is to protect us, just as Orwell predicted.

New Documents Show FBI Spying on Domestic Activist Groups

Police Infiltrate Protest Groups, Incite Violence: innocent Americans beaten while infiltrators slink away.

Pentagon spying on Peace Groups, even Quakers & worst of all,

they hired Lockheed Martin and Northrup Gruman to do some of the spying!

The very military-industrial complex that killed JFK, Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr, RFK, & John Lennon now has the freedom to spy on all Americans- paid for by our very own tax dollars.

Is this to stop terrorists, or to identify dissenters that may impede the war machine?

But surely there’s no room for abuse, they can’t just spy on anybody… well, actually, the decision on who to spy on was left up to a shift supervisor.

Who believes all of the above was to stop terrorism?

And now while the phloggers distract with Alito, the Bush regime is asking for a new Federal Gestapo. The new US Secret Service Uniformed Division will be a federal police force, not restricted to DC but stationed across the country at Embassies and Senator’s Offices. This new Gestapo has extraordinary powers at functions labeled a “National Special Security Event”. This is just like Hitler’s Gestapo, with the power to take over local police, the power to arrest anyone, they can even declare “enemy combatant” and lock away citizens without a trial.

This is not speculation, the establishment of the USSSUD is in the new “Patriot” Act, enemy combatant status has already been approved by the Supreme Court.

They have been spying on journalists, Quakers, Peace Groups and Raging Grannies, at this point probably everyone in the press and in the blogosphere, to create their list. Then if this Gestapo is approved, then this will give them the open door to round up people that are “irresponsible” in their conversations.

And they haven’t only been spying on al-Qaeda, they’ve been “data-mining” the main telecommunications arteries of US Telecom corporations. They been collecting data on all Americans searching for patterns. Bush says it’s to protect us, but he’s a lying SOB, I think this evidence clearly indicates that they are spying on us to identify dissenters- why aren’t Dems and the alternative media raising hell about this? Too often they play along like Bush really is going after terrorists, ignoring all the evidence that he’s a just another wannabe dictator trying to silence dissent.

Everyone’s on the list to make sure nobody makes it to a NSSE, like anything with live tv that could reach a wide audience… showing up at a Senator’s Office or a campaign stop could prove hazardous to your freedom. That’s why they’re doing it. After the next attack, everything will be a “NSSE”, with supergoons on hand to arrest any “troublemakers”.

Why can’t the alternative press, like Democracy Now, CommonDreams, etc, openly write and stay-on-it, (make a little sidebar banner image even) to the effect of:

It appears that rogue elements within our government are openly rushing us into a total Police State- and the Congress is limp in response.
It is time to Restore our gov’t of, by and for The People.

Demand Congress Impeach Bush
or we Impeach them.

If we let BushCo get away with this, then we are entering that abyss that Senator Frank Church warned us about.

In Ukraine, the people braved the cold for a few weeks, chanting, “Police, Join the People”, sticking flowers in their shields… eventually a few Police stood down, it wasn’t long before they all went home and with nobody left to protect him, the President had to step down.

I think this is a better scenario, having this Congress holding impeachment hearings is oxymoronic.

One Response to “Dictators Spy on Peace Groups”

  1. TangoTracker Says:

Well for what it’s worth both Alex Jones and Jack Blood have clearly stated Bush is acting like a dictator. What’s more disturbing however is that there are still sheeple running around who will say, “Don’t be paranoid, it’s for our own good.”

Makes me sick to my stomach, I know they are only mesmerized and ignorant and may some day wake up, however their comments make them traitors and are a thick poison in the veins of our liberty.
