Spooky: Scientists teach rat brain to fly F-22

Filed under: misc, Spooky technology — ben @ 3:42 pm

The global elite love this idea:

It sounds like science fiction: a brain nurtured in a Petri dish learns to pilot a fighter plane as scientists develop a new breed of “living” computer. But in groundbreaking experiments in a Florida laboratory that is exactly what is happening.

The “brain”, grown from 25,000 neural cells extracted from a single rat embryo, has been taught to fly an F-22 jet simulator by scientists at the University of Florida.

Why do they have to teach it to fly a military jet?

They hope their research into neural computation will help them develop sophisticated hybrid computers, with a thinking biological component.

One target is to install living computers in unmanned aircraft so they can be deployed on missions too dangerous for humans.

I’m sure the warmongers will just love this. Just what they need to keep the citizens in line, if Americans won’t turn on each other, they’ll have the rat-brain, robot planes do it.

Rove’s Talking Point for Dems: Wait til Nov

Impeach Now or let them continue spying on Peace Groups, adding to their list.

Impeach Now or let them pass the New “Patriot” Act, which gives Bush and the crooks in Congress a Federal Gestapo to protect them.

Bush & Cheney want you to wait til November…

Did Congress already pass the Attack Iran bill?

Filed under: US Govt, Republicans — ben @ 10:52 am

With the ominous signs of a US attack on Iran, I did a little digging, but I’m not sure what I uncovered- hopefully someone else out there can clarify.

“Representative” Ileana Ros-Lehtinen introduced HR 282 Jan 6, 2005:

To hold the current regime in Iran accountable for its threatening behavior and to support a transition to democracy in Iran.

This bill was passed Jun 7, 2005, 409-2. But the summary was changed from “hold Iran accountable” to “…urging action against anti-Semitism by United Nations member states, and for other purposes.”

But then on Oct 28, 2005, Rep Ros-Lehtinen says to the House:

H.R. 282 , the Iran Freedom Support Act.. provides a comprehensive, multi-tiered, non-military approach to the Iranian threat. The legislation has 325 co-sponsors, and I urge that it be acted upon before the House adjourns this year.

Mr. Speaker, Iran is the full ticket. It is not just Israel’s problem. It constitutes a clear and present danger to regional and global security and must elicit a clear and comprehensive response.

The time has come for Congress and the international community to hold Iran accountable for its destructive behavior.

Nice that she says it’s a “non-military approach” - roflmao, why would anyone believe that? The Iran Freedom Act is just a little too close to the Iraqi Liberation Act, and we all know how that went.

So in June 2005 the House passed HR282, then in Oct Ms Ros-Lehtinen urges that the House act on HR282… wtf- is that a different bill with the same number? Is this some sort of sleight of hand to be used when Congress enacts “the Doomsday Plan“?

I made this picture to go with some Katrina stuff, but I’m not done with that yet, but I wanted to post the picture anyway… does it fit? (- ;
