Why Domestic Spying is such a threat

Spying Without Warrants

Sure, Bush claims he’s only spying on terrorists, but then again, just ago MSNBC reported that the Pentagon was spying on peace groups, even quakers. Does that sound like a gov’t looking for terrorists, or a military-industrial complex looking for ‘troublemakers’ that might interfere with their plans?

The tv pundits have yet to touch on the issue of why spying without warrants is such a threat - because it opens the door to a Gestapo. Spying on anyone, anytime… the new “Patriot” Act sets up a secret police and new powers to arrest anyone they want. John “Death Squads” Negroponte is the top spy… the guy that ran death squads in Honduras has unchecked spying power, he’s above Congress. We’ve got national id cards with barcodes and radio tag tracking devices… to protect, or enslave?

Is there a military-industrial complex profitting from war? Is there an oil mafia spearheaded by the PNAC gang, anxious to gain a strategic foothold in the Middle East, to protect “our interests” and Israel? Would they have the motivation to keep this war going at all costs- including arresting dissenters… they killed a hundred thousand- taking out dissenters is nothing to them.

What are Bush and Co capable of?
They Exploited 9/11
Give Billions to cronies
Take billions from the poor
Lied to start an illegal war
Exposed our Troops to Depleted Uranium
Criminal failure in New Orleans
War Crimes in Iraq

Would this criminal cabal use a Gestapo to stay in power? YES!

Bush is trying to undo the Posse Comitatus Act, to allow the use of military on our own citizens… after the next “terrorist” attack or “natural” disaster you can expect more “incompetence” with blackwater mercenaries guarding the rich, while the poor shot for “looting”. They are trying to start a race war in America, trying to incite riots so they can declare martial law to “protect” us.

It is imperative that Americans realize that THIS IS IT. If Bush gets away with this, ‘I say it’s legal so it’s legal’ bull…. let’s just say it would be a terrible step towards dictatorship. We must reign in this corrupt cabal before the next attack, before they’re able to pass the new patriot act….

What would it take to get all the “progressive” blogs and news sites to stop business as usual… to focus on impeachment, on a rally in DC (and/or Crawford) right now- just like Ukraine, where we stay as long as it takes- or until the State of the Union when Bush and Congress are all in one place… we make Mosh II a reality. Thousands show up in such numbers, putting women and children and lots of video cameras in front, the police will magically realize that they’re not billionaires, and that their life would be better too, so they part and let us through to interupt Bush’s speech on live TV

If Congress fails to impeach this would-be-dictator, then they must be impeached as well. Ukraine had a tent city, with food, water, elec, toilets…. don’t we have at least one millionaire on our side? We can bus Katrina refugees….

Bush swore to uphold The Constitution, that means no spying on Americans without warrants. Bush violated that fundamental right, then asked the New York Times not to run the story before the election. These are impeachable offenses- period. We don’t need no stinkin investigation- we demand impeachment now!

Congress swore to uphold the Constitution, which includes holding the executive branch accountable. If they fail to do so, then they have violated that oath and must be removed from office.

The argument of ‘it’s a republican congress so impeachment is never going to happen’ if pure bullshit. If they feel the heat, they will have no choice or they may face a trial themselves. They’re just like bush, they want to save their ass… so let’s offer them a plea bargain- act now and we may let you off the hook…
