Jan 8, 2004: Pentagon Can Resume Mandatory Anthrax Shots

Oct 27, 2004: [Same] Judge says FDA approved vaccine illegally - stops mandatory vaccinations again

Dec 10 2004: Wolfowitz writes to HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson “seeking emergency authority to resume administering the anthrax vaccine”

Dec 23, 2004: Despite judge’s ruling, Pentagon seeks to restart controversial program

The Department of Defense is discussing with other agencies how it might reopen and again make mandatory a controversial anthrax vaccination program despite a second federal court order enjoining DOD from forcing troops to take the shots…

The DOD and vaccine manufacturer Bioport, of Lansing, Mich., assert the vaccine is safe. They point to 18 studies, including one.. saying the vaccine is no more dangerous than any other vaccine.
