53% want Bush impeached for Iraq lies
A new Zogby poll has revealed that by a margin of 53% to 42%, Americans want Congress to impeach President Bush if he lied about the war in Iraq. Since we all know that he lied, most obviously by repeatedly using the Niger forgery as evidence, what is he doing still making decisions for our country? We have just launched another attack on an Iraqi village and three more soldiers have died. And to illustrate their guilt, Bushco has the FBI drop their investigation into the Niger Forgery, before they have a chance to answer any questions. Just as Italy has located the middleman in the Forgery debaucle, the FBI closed their investigation.
Gen. Nicolò Pollari, director of the Italian military intelligence agency known as Sismi, disclosed that Mr. Martino was the source of the forged documents in closed-door testimony to a parliamentary committee that oversees secret services, the lawmakers said….
The revelation came on a day when the Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed that it had shut down its two-year investigation into the origin of the forged documents.
Mr Martino was found to be responsible for peddling the forged documents for money. Normally this discovery would be seen as a lead to follow, however in this case it was seen as reason to shut down the investigation before they found out WHO forged the documents, and WHO paid for them?
Congressman Dennis Kucinich has written Department of Justice Inspector General Glenn A. Fine, demanding an investigation of the FBI’s handling of the situation.
It is nearly unbelievable that the FBI is satisfied with the non-finding that the Italian government had no responsibility in manipulating intelligence to influence U.S. foreign policy. What about the more likely scenario of manipulation by Americans, Iraqi nationals or combination of both and/or rogue elements within the U.S. intelligence?
