Camp Casey to focus on Exposing Bush Lies
Every Voice in Camp Casey needs to FOCUS- this is not about Cindy - it’s about the war. They’ve made it about Cindy so they can tear her down. So we need to take the message back. This stand at Camp Casey is about exposing the lies and ending the war. It’s about preventing any more needless deaths while the looters continue to loot. Calling on all citizens of Camp Casey to FOCUS on the LIES.
This was a LIE.
“The evidence indicates that Iraq has reconstituted it’s nukular weapons program. Saddam Hussein has held numerous meetings with Iraqi nukular scientists, a group he calls his Nukular Mujaheddin, his Nukular Holy Warriors.”
- George W. Bush

It has always been about the war … and more importantly, stopping it. However, it’s people who fuel this movement. The people need support. Cindy is getting the press this week. It’s raising awarness on the issue, and that’s good. We just all need to stand behind her when they try to tear her down.
I came across this on the web, and wanted to share. There are many, many people working to end this war and raise awareness. We need to support each other in this effort!
From Camp Casey to DVD
Recently Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin stood with other mothers, activists and the growing number of nationwide supporters of Camp Casey out in Crawford, Texas. She lends her thoughts on the war, war crimes, and the ICC in a new documentary called Internationally Speaking.
Internationally Speaking, the second film by activist Christine Rose, is a film that looks into the growing “Anti-Americanism” around the globe. Rose speaks with global citizens about their opinion of the US Government and Foreign Policy.
Medea Benjamin of Code Pink gives insight into the opinions heard around the world. She speaks of Code Pink’s humanitarian missions to Iraq and Afghanistan with passion and grace, commenting also on the accusation of US War Crimes and the reasons for the US exemption from the International Criminal Court.
Filmmaker Christine Rose says, “It was a sheer delight to interview Medea. She’s an unending source of inspiration to me. Her activism and selflessness seems tireless, and that keeps me going when things get tough or stressful.”
Additionally, with the cooperation of Gael Murphy, also with Code Pink, Rose found useful footage from an “Occupation Watch” production on Archive.org actually showing Benjamin in Iraq meeting and talking with Iraqis intimately affected by the US Occupation.
“Some of the most moving shots in the film are thanks to Gael, Medea and Code Pink. Remarkable footage from their trips to Iraq and their interviews with Iraqi people truly enrich the film and help the audience see the people of Iraq as people. People who love and people who feel grief at the loss of a loved one,” says Rose.
The aim of Internationally Speaking is to gain understanding and compassion for our fellow citizens of earth, to see them as people just like us. Because, internationally speaking, we all want the same things: to love and protect and feed our familes… and to live in peace.

Your comment reads like an advertisement. Is codepink the ones who led the march to deliver letters to laura on thursday when you all could have been moving camp? That was kinda weird, who could see the banners you were holding? Are you trying to kill people, walking miles in 100 degree weather? Do you really think laura read the letters? After all the problems in the ditch, why didn’t you move camp like Cindy wanted?
You guys should be exposing the lies, talking with bush people, debating Camp Qualls, and talking to the media about about the downing street memo. So far I am not impressed. Does Cindy have to do everything??
